History

Former COO of Tabs. I built its creator program to 100M monthly social impressions, and the paid ad engine alongside it. The numbers below come from videos that program produced.

Same playbook as at Tabs, now pointed at Kulani Kinis bikinis: many creators, one number to protect, losers killed early. Swimwear is a different category and I have not run it. I would learn fit, fabric and sizing language with your team before I scale anything.

Why now

  • 40,235

    Review count on the page

40,235 reviews are displayed. Creator video adds moving proof next to that written proof.

    Published
  • 1,073

    A second review count

1,073 reviews appear on the page. Buyers already talk about fit in writing; video can show it.

    Published
  • 973

    A third review count

973 reviews are shown. Each one is a candidate line for a creator to react to, never to quote as hers.

    Published
  • 10%

    First-order offer

Get 10% off your first order! gives every creator video a clean closing line without inventing a deal.

Part 4 of 15

Principles

  1. One number to protect

Cost per 1,000 views, target $1. The simulator reads $5.74 today, so every creator and every format is tested against that gap.

  2. One variable per test

A format changes the hook or the shot, never both. Ten creators at seven videos a week give 303 videos a month to learn from.

  3. Losers killed early

A hook that stalls on a Ring Cheeky Tie try-on is cut after the first Monday read, and the slot goes to the next hook in the library.

  4. Claims sheet before camera

Creators quote only lines copied from the site, like free returns and RE-KINI™ fabric. Anything else goes to #claims before filming.

Briefs, drafts, reviews and the weekly numbers

Illustrative
  1. MayaMon 8:30 AM

This week: two Ring Cheeky Tie try-ons and one cover-up reveal with the Mini Mesh Sarong. Product on screen by second two. Claims sheet is pinned in #claims.

  2. TessaTue 10:15 AM

Can I say the Paloma Minimal Full Coverage bottom is squat-proof?

No. Stay with the page: breathable and fully lined. Do the squat on camera if you like, but no promise in words.

  3. MayaWed 4:40 PM

Draft is back: the hook lands, but the line about slimming has to go. Reshoot the opening with a plain fit check on the Y Cheeky bottom.

Reshot, new draft is in #drafts.

  4. MayaThu 11:00 AM

Check before posting: free shipping over $100 carries an asterisk, so nobody says it until the terms are confirmed. Use the first-order 10% line instead.

  5. Report botAppFri 9:00 AM

Weekly report posted in #reports: views, cost per 1,000 views against the $1 target, and the top format for each creator.

  6. Report botAppSat 7:20 PM

Lia's Solid Colors haul passed 100,000 organic views. $50 flat bonus queued, one per creator per month. Video moved to the paid shortlist.

The messages illustrate the working channel, with invented people: briefs go out on Monday, claims questions get an answer the same day, and nothing posts without the check.

Part 5 of 15

Formats

  1. Recycled try-on

    Brief 01

    Recycled try-on

“Made from recycled materials. Now watch the fit.”

Full length on a tripod. Say the fabric line from the claims sheet once, then turn slowly in natural light.

  2. Cheeky tie fit check

    Brief 02

    Cheeky tie fit check

“Ring Cheeky Tie, honest fit check: front, side, back.”

Three angles in one continuous clip, phone at hip height. Say your size and height out loud, no filters.

  3. Bandeau styling

    Brief 03

    Bandeau styling

“Strapless Bandeau Bikini Top, styled for a beach day.”

Pack-with-me on a bed, then wear it outside. Cut on the beat, product name on screen in the first seconds.

  4. Cover-up reveal

    Brief 04

    Cover-up reveal

“Sarong over the bikini: Lemon Bloom, mini length.”

Start in the bikini, tie the Mini Mesh Sarong in frame, finish with a walk-away shot. Show the self-tie up close.

  5. Solid color haul

    Brief 05

    Solid color haul

“My Solid Colors haul, ranked by what I'd rewear.”

Lay pieces on the floor, hold up each one, rank them with captions. Mention free returns only as written on the sheet.

Every product line in a video comes off the claims sheet word for word, for example “Free returns and exchanges. Always!”, “Same day dispatch on eligible orders”, “Get 10% off your first order!”. Product names are said as printed.

Part 6 of 15

Recruiting

Four sources in

  • Fit-check creators

Creators who already post bikini try-ons and say size and height aloud. Fit is the story when the site runs a Size Assistant.

  • Beach and travel makers

Vacation and beach-day creators, close to the Paradise Pass and Summer Outfits themes the site already runs.

  • Matching couples and friends

Pairs and groups who film matching sets, since Matching Couples sits in the site menu.

  • Affiliate or ambassador page

No affiliate or ambassador page was found on the site, so recruiting starts with direct outreach and a one-page brief.

Five filters, fewer each step

  1. 1Fit shown on camera

Full-length try-on footage in their own feed, not only flat lays.

  2. 2Bust sizes in view

Candidates across the sizes the guide lists, from B Cup to E Cup.

  3. 3Reads the claims sheet

Passes a short test on what they may quote before the first brief.

  4. 4Honest voice

Past videos sound like a friend, not a script, with no body-outcome talk.

  5. 5Organic reach

Recent videos get views without paid support, checked on their own profile.

Part 7 of 15

Who

  • Full-coverage seeker

Wants extra bum coverage with a fun look; talks about the slimmer front and side design.

Likely product: Minimal Full Coverage Bikini Bottom - Paloma

  • Cheeky V fan

Films the cheeky cut as an honest fit check: front, side and back.

Likely product: Cheeky V Bikini Bottom - Petal Pop

  • Underwire top reviewer

Explains how an underwire top sits and fits her, without promising lift.

Likely product: Slim Underwire Bra Bikini Top - Paloma

  • Cover-up dresser

Layers a sarong over a bikini for the fun and flirty beach look.

Likely product: Mini Mesh Sarong - Lemon Bloom

  • Shimmer one-piece wearer

Films a one-piece on a trip and repeats the glossy RE-KINI™ SHIMMER line as the page words it.

Likely product: Invisible Underwire One Piece - Jaded Juniper

  • Accessory stylist

Pairs a scrunchie with a set in a quick styling clip, the small add-on to the bikini.

Likely product: Scrunchie - Petal Pop

Left off, every time

Always left out: minors, anyone who promises body results or sun protection, creators who edit their body in footage, and anyone who runs down other swim brands. Category rule: fit and fabric talk only, from the claims sheet.

Claims sheet

Approved, word for word

Quoted exactly as the brand publishes it.

  • “Free returns and exchanges. Always!”

Closing line of any video, as written

  • “Same day dispatch on eligible orders”

Caption or spoken line; keep the word eligible

  • “Get 10% off your first order!”

Call to action at the end of the video

  • “Made from our buttery-soft RE-KINI™ fabric, crafted from recycled materials and produced with 75% less CO₂ than standard fabrics.”

Recycled try-on format, said once, word for word

  • “Breathable and fully lined”

    Minimal Full Coverage bottom videos

  • “100% adjustable self-tie style”

Cover-up reveal with the Mini Mesh Sarong

  • “Made from comfy stretch mesh fabric”

    Cover-up reveal, fabric close-up

Never said

Each one with the reason it stays out.

  • This will slim, lift or reshape your body

A body outcome. The page only describes designs, and creators never promise results.

  • Fits every body, guaranteed

The site offers a size guide and assistant; it makes no guarantee.

  • Better than other bikini brands

No comparisons with other brands, ever.

  • Zero impact on the planet

The page says 75% less CO₂ than standard fabrics, nothing broader.

  • The color never fades

Care notes say some colors may fade in direct sunlight.

  • Safe with any suntan lotion or oil

Care notes say lotions, oils and harsh chemicals can stain fabrics.

To confirm with the brand

Held until someone on the brand side signs off.

  • Free shipping on orders over $100 !*

The asterisk terms were not read, so nobody says it until the brand confirms them.

  • Same day dispatch on eligible orders

Which orders are eligible, and the cutoff time, need brand confirmation before creators mention it.

Part 10 of 15

Pay

  • Starter

    $300–600

    a month, by band

Starter: new to paid work, proving fit-check videos on the Ring Cheeky Tie and Minimal cuts.

    Bonus at the cap: $300

  • Standard

    $500–1,000

    a month, by band

Standard: steady weekly output, holds the claims sheet, keeps views near the base case.

    Bonus at the cap: $500

  • Premium

    $800–1,500

    a month, by band

Premium: strong organic reach in swimwear, films harder formats such as the shimmer one-piece.

    Bonus at the cap: $700

  1. Under 100,000 views

    $0

The base pay covers the work.

  2. 100,000 views

    +$50 flat

    Whatever the band.

  3. 1,000,000 views

    Top-up to your cap

Bonus = band cap − base pay.

  • One bonus per creator per month: the $50 flat bonus when a video passes 100,000 views.
  • Per video: the 100,000 mark is read on a single video, never summed across several.
  • Organic views only: paid boosts and ad views do not count toward the bonus.
  • No bonus on a video that broke the claims sheet or the swimwear category rule.

Starter: $600 cap − $300 fee = $300 bonus; Standard: $1,000 cap − $500 fee = $500 bonus; Premium: $1,500 cap − $800 fee = $700 bonus.

The bonus pays for reach after the work is done, never instead of it. One bonus per creator per calendar month keeps it an incentive and keeps the program cost predictable.

Part 11 of 15

Simulator

At 10 creators and seven videos a week, the simulator reads $5.74 per 1,000 views against the $1.00 target. It closes if 4.2% of videos go viral or the median video reaches 21,711 views.

Above the $1 target at these inputs.

To hit $1, the roster needs about 10.1M views a month. That means about 4.2% of videos going viral, or a median near 22K views per video. That is why the day-90 gate exists: keep the accounts that clear it, replace the rest.

Proposed, not measured. Views = videos × median, breakouts at 10× the median, viral at 750K. Bonus: +$50 for a viral video, one per creator per month.

The math. Videos a month = 10 creators × 7 a week × 52 ÷ 12 = 303. Views per video = (1 − 4% − 0.5%) × 1,500 + 4% × 10 × 1,500 + 0.5% × 750,000 = 5,782.5; 303 videos × 5,782.5 = 1.8M views a month. Cost = 10 × $1,000 = $10,000 base + 1 bonus × $50 = $10,050. Cost per 1,000 views = $10,050 ÷ 1.8M × 1,000 = $5.74 against a $1.00 target. To hit the target, either 4.2% of videos go viral or the median video reaches 21,711 views, other inputs held.

Move the sliders and the label recalculates. The result is only as good as the guesses behind it, so the median views, the share of breakouts and the share of viral videos are marked as Assumptions until the first month of posts replaces them.

  2. Month 1

    Ramp to ten creators

Two creators a week until 10 are live, each at 7 videos a week. The first Monday report reads cost per 1,000 views against $1.

  3. Month 2

    Cut losers, double winners

Kill the weakest formats among the five, keep the ones closing the gap to $5.74, and give Premium slots to the best organic reach.

  4. Month 3

    Send winners to paid

Move the best Kulani Kinis videos through the four organic-to-paid steps, keeping organic copies clean for the 100,000-view bonus.

  5. Day 90

    Decision on the roster

Read cost against the $1 target and renew or reshape the roster. Bands stay Starter, Standard and Premium unless the numbers say otherwise.

  6. Monthly ceiling

    The cost cap

All 10 creators at the top cap cost $15,000 a month, bonuses excluded. The simulator base case sits at $10,050.

The roster grows by two creators a week, so hook performance can be read week over week instead of by anecdote.

Organic to paid

From organic to paid

  1. Organic first

The creator posts on her own feed with the claims sheet applied. No spend yet.

  2. Read the video

A video past 100,000 organic views, or clearly ahead on cost per 1,000 views, joins the shortlist.

  3. Ask for rights

Get the creator's written ok to run the video as an ad, with terms agreed before any spend.

  4. Test in paid

Run the winner as a paid test with one variable changed, and keep the organic copy untouched for the bonus count.

From the video to the checkout

  • The product page of the exact piece on screen, such as the Ring Cheeky Tie Bikini Bottom.
  • The Best Sellers collection for videos that show a mix of pieces.
  • The Back In Stock collection when a piece a creator featured returns.
  • Checkout, with the first-order line as written: Get 10% off your first order!
  • Free shipping over $100 only after the terms behind the asterisk are confirmed.

Part 15 of 15

Swimwear rules

Swimwear rules for creators

Swimwear is about fit, fabric and showing a body honestly. These six rules cover what any creator says and shows on camera for Kulani Kinis.

  • Fit, not body promises

Say how a piece fits you, with your size and height. Never promise it slims, lifts or reshapes anyone; the page only describes designs.

  • Fabric lines stay literal

The RE-KINI™ line stays as written: 75% less CO₂ than standard fabrics. No broader claims about the planet or impact.

  • Care as written

Hand wash in cold water, line dry; some colors may fade in direct sunlight; lotions and oils can stain. Never say or film otherwise.

  • Offers need the sheet

Quote only offers on the claims sheet. Free shipping over $100 waits for the terms behind the asterisk. The first-order 10% line goes as written.

  • Adults, tasteful framing

Adult creators only, no nudity, framing set by the brief. Platform swimwear rules apply to every upload.

  • Disclose every post

Every post carries the platform's paid-partnership label, and the caption says it is an ad or a gift.

The brand’s legal team sets the final rules. This is the operating floor I’d start from, not legal advice.
